If you would like to load more contents into your car we require a corresponding statement incl. details of their value for customs.

The transport insurance is insurance that fully covers the entire value of the vehicle in case the ship sinks, the container is tipped overboard, the container is stolen, burns down, piracy, total damages, etc. However, there is a co-payment for scratches or dents in the amount of 5,000 euros per container. This co-payment is necessary because the premiums would otherwise increase by a four-digit amount. The insurance is valid for lorry transport to the port.

Port handling is the unloading procedures at Port. Please take note that these fees are NEVER already included in deals from any competing companies, even if this is often claimed.

We always ship two vehicles together in a 40" foot container. Therefore, you will be sharing the container with another customer of ours. Alternatively, we can ship your car separately in a 20 foot container. However, this carries an additional fee of  400USD.

Payment occurs at invoicing, however at the latest when a copy of the Bill of Lading, the ocean carrier s consignment note, is available. This is the case around one week before arrival in any destination port.

How do you want to register your car at destination port for clearance with customs? As goods returned, goods relocation, or trading goods? In the case of goods returned or goods relocation you are responsible for providing all documents that customs requires for these types.

The duration of the ship s journey is four weeks. Your vehicle can also be delivered to the port up to 14 days earlier by request and will be safe there. The complete procedure from loading in Nigeria up to the transfer of your car in destination port. arranging vehicle registration takes 2 months.

The following documents are required:

For UAE:

• Export/police papers (you will receive when registering your car with the blue export identification papers that you should put behind the front and back windshields)
• A copy of your passport (only the page with your name and photo)
• A list of contents in the vehicle with details of their (estimated) value.

For Germany:

• A copy of your residence visa from your passport
• Vehicle invoice
• Documentation for at least 6 months registration at the export processing zone (for relocation goods)
• Documentation for at least 12 months residence (for relocation goods)
